I had a blast hanging out at Tiger Strikes Asteroid for the first weekend of my new photo exhibit. There couldn’t be a big opening because of Covid. Instead, I greeted a steady stream of people throughout the afternoon. (A limited amount of people were allowed inside at a time.) It was a relaxed event and so nice to see lots of wonderful people.

The exhibit continues until 11/15/20. I think I’m going to do a meet-and-greet at the gallery again on its final day. In drag!

The show must go on! My new photo exhibit is opening at Tiger Strikes Asteroid gallery in Bushwick, Brooklyn. (It was originally scheduled for May, but you know how that went.)

Curated by dynamic Pacifico Silano, the exhibit includes 15 framed photos from The Drag Explosion. 

The gallery will have weekend hours only and just a few people at a time will be allowed inside. So it will be a healthy and hopefully stimulating environment. Hope you can stop by!

The new issue of the fantastic literary arts magazine Spünk features an interview with me, Linda Simpson, accompanied by some photos from The Drag Explosion. Journalist Mike Albo conducted the interview, and the magazine’s founder and publisher is Aaron Tilford, who lives in Los Angeles.

The magazine, which is print only and published in black-and-white, also posted color versions of my photos on its Instagram page, including the ones below.
